How to Prepare Your Quilt for My Long Arm Quilting Services
- Trim all loose piecing threads.
- Press all seams completely flat.
- For best results, attach your quilts borders as shown below.
- Attach a note which includes your quilt's measurements and which end is the top if you have a preference.
- You can supply your own batting or I can supply it for you.
- I now carry Hobbs 80/20 as I am very happy with how it quilts out. I am confident you will love the feel and drape it gives your quilt.
- I can supply specialty battings upon request.
- Backing should be 4" larger than your quilt top on all sides.
- Cut off the selvage and place the full width of fabric in the centre of the back with extra piecing on the right and left sides.
- Press all seams open.
- Press backing fabric to remove all wrinkles and fold neatly for shipping.
